Anticipating high demand for tickets at Carrow Road, I decided to take the plunge and booked hospitality for the Quarter Final. I bought two seats in the 'Top of the Terrace Suite', with the promise of a three course carvery meal inspired by that famous Canary, Delia Smith. Let's be 'avin you!

However, world events would take centre stage as, shortly afterwards, the impact of COVID 19 began to take effect. Within a few weeks, the entire country went into lockdown with all sporting activities suspended.

Norwich City kept in regular contact, updating me on the measures in place and their plans for the match.

Eventually, they had to concede defeat to the virus and the hospitality was cancelled.

Hopefully, the game will still go ahead at some point but it seems we won't be able to attend.

We will just have to continue our Wembley journey as armchair participants.
